The week so far in zombie news…

Atlanta, Georgia USA: Opening this September is the Atlanta Zombie Apocalypse theme park. The park will provide visitors an immersive and horrifying experience into surviving a zombie apocalypse. Covering 100,000 square feet of terror, visitors must flee from the undead trying to eat their brains.

Phoenix, Arizona USA : This coming weekend 14th July sees #zombies invade an Arizona Barnes and Noble book store. Customers will descend on the store dressed in zombie apocalypse attire for the annual Metropocalypse event. The day will feature a presentation from the Department of Zombie Defense and tables will be set up with various zombie novels, movies and TV shows as well as survivalist guides and books for younger audiences. Doc of the Dead:  Rumors are circulating on the interwebs that  Exhibit A Pictures  are at work on a zombie documentary Doc of the Dead. More news as it comes to hand.

Detroit Z World: A Detroit man is trying to raise $145,000 to buy or lease abandoned property to build Z World Detroit, a zombie apocalypse-style theme park. The idea is to turn a blighted area into an asset and revitalize an area while creating some jobs for Detroiters. 190 funders so far has raised $7000.
