Drivers were warned of possible Zombies as a sign at a road site construction site on Auburn Street was hacked to read “Warning Zombies Ahead!” The sign originally read “Night work 8 pm-6 am. Expect delays.” The Portland Press Herald reports that it’s all “fun and games until someone’s eye falls out.“
More Zombie road sign warnings are appearing this time in Canada. St John’s commuters were confronted with signs that were meant to advise motorists of construction that started Monday on Portugal Cove Road. Instead they had been programmed with other messages including “Expect apocalyptic doom!” Workers later arrived to turn off and remove the signs.
Electronic highway signs on the interstate in Cincinnati USA are reported to be warning of Nightly lane closures due to zombies.
